The senators praised the people's widespread and steadfast support for the country's armed forces in suppressing the terrorist Taliban.


The session was chaired by Fazl Hadi Muslimyar, speaker of the Meshrano Jirga; The senators thanked the people across the country for their timely and steadfast support of the defense and security forces, saying that as foreign forces withdrew from Afghanistan, the government released more than 5,000 Taliban prisoners in good faith to restore peace; But the Taliban against everything proudly set fire to several districts, public facilities, houses and shops of the people, and they proved once again that the people and the security and defense forces of the country, by being united, can protect the territorial integrity and national interests better and more effectively than the foreign forces in the country.

The senators said that the Taliban are not negotiating and that wherever they gathered, they should be destroyed by the people and the armed forces of the country that was dreaming of the early fall of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and turned that into despair. The senators by emphasizing the management of people uprisings emphasized that the people's forces should not act arbitrarily, but should be organized within the framework of the Ministries of Defense and Interior affairs, and keep their way with strong discipline, their national and patriotic mission in defending the country, and with the mechanism organized and measured so that the bitter history of the past is not repeated

The senators called the current situation sensitive and called on all leaders, politicians, and citizens to mobilize and work as hard as possible against the Taliban terrorist group in order to preserve the system and defend the achievements ​​of the past two decades, and not allow the country's enemies to achieve their sinister goals.


A number of senators also welcomed the GoIRA delegation's visit to Washington, led by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, and expressed hope that the US President and NATO would put pressure on Pakistan to not continues or repeat its inhumane intervention in Afghanistan. The senators recalled the recent interview of Pakistani Prime Minister Omra Khan with the New York Times, which explicitly reveals Pakistan's sinister intentions towards Afghanistan. The members of the Senate, while praising the work and sacrifices of the workers and engineers of Breshna Company in repairing the damaged electricity poles, called on the local people and the security forces to jointly take appropriate measures to protect the power poles.

Also at the session, according to media reports by National Security Forces that on Friday night, five residents of Deh Yahya village of Deh Sabz district of Kabul, including Nasir Abdul Rahman, a prominent cultural figure and owner of Maiwand Publishing, were killed in their homes. The senators asked for information about the details of this operation and this case should be prosecuted separately.


Furthermore, the Speaker and other members of the senate expressed their grief and sympathy on the martyrdom of Mohammad Osman Khan Kakar, a prominent figure in the Pashtun protection movement and a former member of the Pakistani Senate, the martyrdom of Haji Nurjan Shinwari, head of the 3rd Brigade of the 201st Corps, death of Maulavi Assadollah Jamali, death of Senator Mohammad Khan's wife and the death of Ghulam Qadir Froutan, grandson of Mohammad Alam Ezadyar, first deputy of the Senate, and the death of Lt. Col. Fazl Rahman, Deputy Security of the National Assembly Security Department.

Also, in the session, the scheme of the Wolesi Jirga on the (Law on the Establishment and Powers of the Independent Commission for Supervision of the Implementation of the Constitution) which was studied in the commissions of the senate, was presented in the session by the Chairman and other members of the Legislative Affairs and Justice Commission.


At the end of the session, regarding the visit of the President and his accompanying delegation to the United States of America, Fazl Hadi Muslimyar, Speaker of the Senate, said that the Senate will announce its official position after obtaining the necessary information about the results of this visit, and added that "My message to the leaders of foreign countries is that the people of Afghanistan have proved with patriotism to defend their territory and interests against any aggressor, and recently the uprising people alongside the security-defense forces that took place to protect the republic." It shows that the people, through their general uprising stood against the enemies and proved to the world that the people will stand up against the unjust war of the Taliban and turned their hopes into despair. The Speaker of the Senate continued to appreciate and praise the resistance, the Mujahideen, and the people uprisings that have sided with the country's security sector, saying that they have stood against mercenary enemies who adhere to no human principles and values and have no other idea than destroying and killing people, and the government should do more to mobilize, manage and better organize these uprisings so that in the end it does not cause chaos.
