Muhammad Alam Ezad yar first deputy speaker of the Meshrano Jirga today afternoon met with the trade delegation of the Russian federation.

The meeting which also attended by Rahila Dostum secretary of the House and other senators, First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Expressed gratitude for Russia's assistance in various fields, and recalled the long-standing relations between the two countries, he called for the strengthening and expansion of relations at various levels, especially the development of parliamentary and trade relations between the two

 countries. He also discussed a visit of the Afghan Parliament delegation to Russia in the near future and expressed hope that the visit of the delegation will be effective in line with the development of trade and investment. The deputy speaker of the House also said that the Russian Federation's role in regional issues, especially in the Afghan peace process, is valuable, adding that the Afghan delegation, which also includes himself in the delegation, would soon leave Afghanistan to that country to attend the Moscow Peace Summit.

Then, Mr. Esti Pan, Parliamentary Adviser to the Russian Federation and the members of the delegation, stated that the purpose of their visit was to expand trade and investment relations in Afghanistan and also to meet with government officials and national businessmen. He also asked the first deputy of the Senate to visit the Russian Federation at the appropriate time and to meet with the traders’ union of that country.
