The Meshrano Jirga National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan message on the occasion of 26th of Dalwa the withdrawal day of the USSR troops from Afghanistan:

By The Name of Allah, The Most Gracious the Most Merciful

The Meshrano Jirga National assembly considers the 26th of Dalwa as the 32nd anniversary defeat of USSR and their withdrawals from Afghanistan and also as a remarkable historical victory day and congratulates this great day to all people of Afghanistan.

The USSR troops with the support of their internal puppets invaded Afghanistan with modern weapons on the 6th of Jaddi 1358, and after 10 years of resistance and sacrifices, they left Afghanistan with embarrassing defeat, and as the result, Afghanistan liberated and a lot of other countries disintegrated from USSR. The Muslim nation of the country during the resistance and Jihad times, engaged and fought to protect their land, religion, and honors, and as the result of their ten years of Jihad, the invaders withdrew from Afghanistan, but their ten years’ invasion resulted in the martyrdom of millions of Afghans, and others forced to leave their country, also, it is smashed the economic and social infrastructure of the country and their vicious invasion still affected the social and the economic sector of Afghanistan. The political history of Afghanistan recalls that Afghanistan hoped for good relations with their neighboring countries and also with all globe, but in the cause of invasion, they will bravely protect their lands and sovereignty. The Meshrano Jirga calls on the government authorities and compatriots to work for peace and stability in Afghanistan so that Afghanistan will remain free from any future aggression and develop in economic, political, defense and self-sufficiency.
