In the committee of chairs of
the Meshrano Jirga led by the speaker of the House, with the presence of the
shareholders of Ariana Airlines, to strengthen this national institution, talks
and discussion took place.
The
session was attended by Dr. Karima Hamed Faryabi, Minister of Economy, Abdul
Aziz Babakar khil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank Melli, Ahmad
Javid Wafa, Chairman of Pashtani Bank, who are among the shareholders of Ariana
Company, the discussion was made on ways to strengthen Ariana Airlines
financially and technically, including receiving loans from the country's banks
to purchase new aircraft, including using government's pilgrims' deposit money
and arranging more domestic and international flights and other related issues
were discussed.
At the
session, after the mentioned shareholders explained in this regard, Fazal Hadi
Muslim Yar, Speaker of the Meshrano Jirga, emphasized the continuation of such
meetings, said that Da Ariana Afghan Air is the wealth and national identity
company of the country that should be strengthened financially and technically
from the current weak situation; He instructed the Senate Telecommunications
Commission to discuss the matter with the company's board of directors and ask
them to revise their business plan to meet today's requirements and take
appropriate action. Moreover, at the session, although most of the questions
were addressed to the Ministry of Finance, which is one of the key shareholders
of the company, the Minister of Finance which was attending in the Wolesi Jirga
session in connection to explain the draft 1400 national budget; He did not
attend the session so that this issue could be coordinated with him late

the other part of the session, while approving the agenda of the plenary
session that has already been decided, it was decided to hold the oath ceremony
of Ms. Raheleh Dostum on Sunday, January 17, 2021, who has just been appointed
a member of the Senate by the President. And in the plenary session on19
January, Presidential Decree No. 265 on the Administrative Enforcement Law will
be added to the agenda to be discussed.
