In the session of a committee of chairs of the Meshrano Jirga led by the speaker of the House, agenda of the plenary sessions for the upcoming weeks specified and discussions were on the work affairs of the commissions.

In the committee of chairs, the decision made that in tomorrow’s plenary session of the House on Sunday, 19th of July, 2020, besides of open discussion, Presidential Decree No. 75 and Presidential Decree No. 132 on the Establishment of the Ministry of State for Martyrs and the Disabled, Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Higher Education Degrees (2011 Tokyo Convention), Agreement of Framework for establishing the International Solar Energy Union (ISA), WIPO Convention on Performances and Phonograms (approved December 20, 1396) and presentation of the work report of the Complaints Hearing Commission during the first session of this year should also include in the agenda. Also, it is decided that the work of Dr. Farooq Wardak, the former Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, should also be praised at tomorrow's session on Sunday.

Moreover, it is decided that in the plenary session of the Meshrano Jirga on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, besides the open discussion, the session should appreciate the performance of former governors of Nangarhar and Nuristan provinces and former head of national security of Nangarhar province.  Also, work reports of the first sessions of the 17th legislative term of the House and the work of the Minister of Refugees and Repatriations should be heard at the session.

Furthermore, the committee while raised the problems in the work of the Kunar-Nuristan road project, the senators condemned the Pakistani military missiles firing at areas of Sarkanwi district in Kunar province and the death of some civilians as a result of these missile launches and their efforts to establish a checkpoint on Afghan soil.
