Fazil Hadi Muslim Yar Speaker of the House met with parliamentary delegation and the new ambassador of Australia to Kabul at the Hall of the National Council.

Initially, Mr. Andrew Wallace, Chairman of the delegation, and Mr. Guillot Touet, Ambassador of Australia to Kabul, congratulated the Speaker on the 100th anniversary of the country's independence, and added that "Australia have been in diplomatic relations with Afghanistan for fifty years, while relations between the people of the two countries have been going back to more than one and a half centuries,". They also reiterated their country's commitment to continue working with Afghanistan in various areas.

Subsequently, Fazl Hadi Muslim Yar Speaker of the House, thanked for Australia's assistance and cooperation in various fields with the Afghan people, and for the work of the Australian forces serving under the Resolute Support Missions in Afghanistan- ISAF. Furthermore, he expressed his condolences to the families of the forces that lost their lives in the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan. Also, Speaker of the House, in response to questions about Afghanistan's relations with neighboring countries, especially with Pakistan, and the peace process said, we want good relations with the world and neighboring countries, but unfortunately some of them, especially Pakistan, have failed and they are not honest

in their counterterrorism commitments. And Pakistan by supporting and equipping the terror groups, the people of Afghanistan are the victims of their terrorist activity. And he added that the people of this and are keen for peace and the most effective way forwarding peace is to promote peace talks led by the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

During the meeting, Muslim Yar detailed information on the election of the Senate, Plenary Sessions, work of the committees and duties, competencies and responsibilities of Senators in the National Assembly. At the end, both sides emphasized on the expansion of parliamentary relations between the two parliaments, and the Australian Parliamentary delegation called on Fazl Hadi Muslim yar to visit the Australia at an opportune time.
