 Fazil Hadi Muslimyar Speaker of the House of Elders met with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Mr. Liu Jinsong to Afghanistan.


 In this meeting, Mr. Liu Jinsong shared an official invitation of the Republic of China to Speaker of the House and discussed the further assistance of The people's Republic of China to Afghanistan, the timely holding of presidential elections, the fight against various terrorist groups, the peace process, and pushing Pakistan and the Taliban to negotiate with the Afghan government. Moreover, he said that the People's The Republic of China wants to maintain peace in Afghanistan and the region, and persuades Pakistan not to miss the opportunity of peace in Afghanistan and to stop cooperating and supporting the armed group in Afghanistan.

 Fazl Hadi Muslim Yar, the Speaker of the Meshrano Jirga, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Liu Jinsong efforts during his mission in Afghanistan, saying that the People's Republic of China, as a good neighbor, has helped Afghanistan in various sector, and we hope that China will play a prominent role as a major economic country on regional issues, in particular, the peace issue of Afghanistan. Also, he added that there is no good and bad terrorist, and because of this phenomenon, the people of Afghanistan has been the victim of this for many years, and should not be a means to the benefit of some countries. Muslimyar referring to optimism and concerns in the Afghan peace process, expressed his belief that the international partners of Afghanistan must avoid any secret dealings and provide a platform for meetings between the Afghan government and the opposition.


 Furthermore, He considered the transparent, fair, and general elections as the demand of the people of Afghanistan and the government, and in particular the Independent Election Commission (IEC), have their obligations in this regard.
