During the Plenary Session of the House of Elders on Tuesday, led by Speaker of the House, the Senators Questioned Education authorities regarding the related concerned issues of education in the country.

During open part of the Session, the Senators welcomed the increase of strives regarding achievement of peace in Afghanistan and considered hope full start work of Zalmai Khalilzad a US diplomat and a counselor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)  in this process.

The Senators discussed about their new statements for sabotaging the parliamentary election and emphasized were on the security officials for having strong security measures in the regard. Moreover, the Senators demanded form the people to actively participate in this national process.

Furthermore, the Senators discussed about uses of biometric during the election, security maintenance of Kabul-Kandahar Highways and other related concerned issues of the country were raised in the Session.

In conclusion, part of the Session, Speaker of the House of Elders discussed about the above raised issues and supported start work a US diplomat and a counselor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Moreover, Speaker of the House of Elders discussed about the foreign countries interference in the affairs of Afghanistan and said that support from terrorism groups by the Pakistan has been damaged the relations between the two countries.

Additionally, Speaker of the House considered role of Arabian countries as an important step in the peace process and emphasized on further pressures and killing of terrorist groups to which have not any intention to peace process. Speaker of the House during his discussion discussed about the raised concerned issues regarding the parliamentary election and expressed his support from the ANSF.

Likewise, at the other part of the Session, chaired by Muhammad Asif Sediqi Second Deputy Speaker of the House, the Senators questioned Education Ministry authorities regarding the related concerned issues of education in the country. The concerned issues were regarding challenges in the education section, lack of books and teachers’ formation in some schools, process of changing teachers to other schools, inadequate salaries of teachers, inadequate of firewood in some schools during winter season, revision of curriculum, building of schools and other related concerned issues were raised by the Senators.

Then, Deputy of Ministry of Education and Deputy Finance and administration of the Ministry of Education explained regarding the above raised concerned issues.

Finally, Senator Muhammad Hanif Hanifi presented report of the House delegation of the commission of Hearing Complain from the Urozgan province.
