At the Senate Special Session led by Speaker of the House of Elders, the Session approved and ratified four law and international documents.

The Session by majority vote ratified Principles of Commercial Trials law and approved Agreement of Motorized Vehicles regarding traffic management of passenger, personal and cargo vehicles between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Republic of India and Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Turkmenistan on transit and transportation of Azure  after their reviews in the commissions of the House.

During open part of the Session, the Senators discussed about the sacrifices of ANSF in the battlefield and also criticized on civilian house bombardment in the Kundoz province and emphasizes was for investigation of the incident.

Also the Senators discussed about the education importance and it status form the Islamic point and criticizes was on the armed opponent for closing schools in some part of the country.

Moreover, the Session discussed about the peace and stability in the country and emphasizes was that the process of peace should be under leadership of the government of Afghanistan.

Moreover, Mohammad Alam Ezadyar First Deputy Speaker of the House of Elders presented brief visit report from the Panjshir province. The report was regarding the recent damages and humanitarian causalities caused by flood in that province. He added that due to recent flood in the area around 200 houses collapsed and other 54 house relatively damaged.

Furthermore, the Senators discussed regarding variety of issues which included on regarding the protest of the Nimroz province resident demanding dismissal of governor of the mentioned province, unfair load-shedding in different part of the Kabul city, complain of some Pashtun resident in the Takhar province regarding usurping their lands by Malik Tattar in that province, emphasizes for extension of election registration centers, emphasizes for increasing salaries of ANSF and other related concerned issues were raised in the Session.

In conclusion part of the Session, Speaker of the House discussed about the above raised issues and expressed his concerns regarding the civilian bombardment in the Kundoz province.

moreover, Speaker of the Senate emphasized for reaching to victims of the Panjshir province, solving load-shedding in the Kabul city and reaches to the demands of the protesters in the Nimroz province.

Also, according to agenda, Senator Mohammad Nadir Safari presented activity report of the Commission of National Economic, Finance and budget of the Senate during 1st Session of 8th legislative year. Senator Safari said that during this period, this commission launched 48 meeting where 21 law, legislative decrees, and international agreements and conventions has been debated. Along of these, the commission has summoned variety of related government for interrogation regarding variety of issues.

Similarly, Senator Mirhatm Tarakhil presented activity report of the Senate Commission on Provincial Affairs. He added that this commission during this period launched 37 meetings, and along of discussion regarding different 14 legislative documents, the commission has summoned variety of related government for interrogation regarding variety of issues

Likewise, Senator Mohammad Ajan Mangal presented activity report of the Commission on Tribe and Nomad affairs during the Senate during 1st Session of 8th legislative year.

Subsequently, Senator Engineer Ahmad Jaweed Raouf presented activity report of the Commission on International affairs during 1st Session of 8th legislative year.

Also, Senator Muhammad Rahim Hassan yar presented activity report of the Commission on Telecommunication and Transportation during 1st Session of 8th legislative year of the Senate.

Finally, Senator, Abdul Baqi Baryal presented activity report of the Commission on Disabled and Heritage of Martyrs affairs during 1st Session of 8th legislative year.
