Members of the House of Elders considered Haram the suicide attacks and the continuation of the war in the country.

During the House of Elders Session on Tuesday chaired by Dr. Mohammad Asif Sediqi Second Deputy Speaker of the House, Members of the House welcomed and supported the issuance of an Islamic ruling, or a fatwa of the Ulama of the country for considering "haram" — forbidden under Islamic law the suicide attacks and the continuation of the war in the country.

During the Session, the Senators appraised the recent issuance of Fatwa of Afghanistan religious scholars against the suicide attacks and the continuation of war in Afghanistan and considered it as the historical Fatwa and acceptable by all compatriots.

The Senators strongly condemned the yesterday’s suicide attack on the summit participants of Ulema Scholars where a number of Ulema martyred and injured. Members of the Session prayed to the souls of martyrs and emphasizes were for maintaining security of citizens especially of the Ulema.

Around 2,000 members of the religious body, known as the Afghan Ulema Council, had gathered for the meeting at the tent erected in the Afghan capital's 5th District. The explosion struck as the council was ending and the participants were about to leave

Moreover, The Senators during the Session expressed their concerns regarding print and publish of fake Tazkira and its effect during the parliamentary election. The Senators emphasized that the government should prevent the concerned issue and make the transparency in election. Furthermore, members of the Session admired sacrifices of ANSF for defending their country and other related concerned issues of the country were raised in the Session.

During conclusion of the Session, Second Deputy Speaker of the House expressed his support from the Summit of Ulema of the country for considering the suicide attacks Haram and against the Islamic guidance and also strongly condemned the suicide attacks on the members of the summit.

 Furthermore, Dr. Asif Sediqi criticized on lack of coordination among the international troops with the government and the people of Afghanistan and demanded for revision on the bilateral security agreement.  Moreover, Second Deputy Speaker of the House expressed his concerns regarding lack of transparency in the upcoming parliamentary election and also criticized for unprofessional recruitment of diplomats in abroad.
